Photo Of The Day : “Stanford Corridor”

Yet another fish eye photo I took on the Stuck in Stanford PhotoWalk led by +Trey Ratcliff, +Lisa Bettany, +Brian Rose, and +Vincent Mo. If you look carefully, there is a cool camera flash at the bottom of the staircase on the left 🙂

Photo Of The Day : “Moon Over Stanford”

This is another photo from the Trey Ratcliff (Stuck In Customs) photo walk at Stanford University on August 11, 2011. This was an amazing event, with over 200 photographers! All organized through my new obsession, Google+. This was the first Google+ Flash mob, and may have been a world record for a photo walk. Although Trey thinks it may have been 5 or 10 people shy of his Austin Photowalk. Thank you Bay Area traffic!

You can view the rest of the photos I took on my Google+ album at https://plus.google.com/photos/106719979779567208605/albums/5640125127238409201

Also, below the photo I took, is a group photo taken by Peter Adams (https://plus.google.com/106983800549406471589/posts)

If you are not on Google+ and you love photography, you NEED to be. It’s a great place for photographers to interact and share their work. Even if you are not a photographer, it is a great place to find new photographers. You need an invite though, but I have plenty to send! (You must add me to your circle though 🙂

Photo Of The Day : “The Tug Boat”

I am really curious to what the name of the barge is. I am thinking the language is Russian, but can’t be sure sure, since I cannot type those characters into my stupid American keyboard. Anyone out there have an idea? This was taken from the Commodore Events yacht while shooting the wedding of Angelina and Arthur Brooks!

Photo Of The Day “You Call THAT A Strike!!!????

Miguel Tejada reacts to a questionable strike call from home plate umpire Marvin Hudson while Chicago Cubs catcher Geovany Soto looks on during the Giants 2-1 loss to the Cubs on June 29, 2011 at Wrigley Field

Photo Of The Day “Bridge Over Troubled Water”

It has been a WHILE since I have posted a Photo Of The Day. I feel terrible, because I love to share my work. But unfortunately, since my real estate photography business for VHT.Com has been very busy, along with all the weddings and commercial work I do, I rarely have time to process my OWN personal photos. I chose this as a career, and have the greatest job in the world, but I can’t remember the last time I was able to go on a nice lonely hike, and take nature photos for myself. Sigh 😦

I think this photo represents what I am going through quite well. The bridge is where I want to be. Nice and calm, being able to set up my tripod, and just shoot the quiet wilderness. The rushing water represents my crazy work and social schedule. Non stop, and moving fast!

I promise to start posting more. It drives me crazy to not have people looking at new photography from me!

Photo Of The Day: “A Happy Panda”

One of the shots from my photography session on the field for Giants Batting Practice. HUGE Thanks to Ashley Paige Dellarocca and Linda Wright for making this happen!! Check out the rest of the photos at

Photo Of The Day “Bay Bridge Sunset”

Have I said how much I love working for Commodore Events? Part of my job requires me to be on boats in the middle of the San Francisco Bay on beautiful May days with amazing sunsets falling behind the Bay Bridge. Life is rough. I am actually very happy I was able to get this photo as clear as it is, since the very choppy condition of the water made for an incredibly difficult shoot. This was probably the most challenging shoot of my career, but obviously, well worth it!

Photo Of The Day “Buster Posey, World Champ”

A little teaser photo from an awesome San Francisco Giants fundraiser benefit I was lucky enough to photograph last night onboard the amazing Cabernet yacht owned by Commodore Events. I love working for Commodore, especially for nights like this! Mix Master Mike from the Beastie Boys was spinning beats for the 400+ 30-somethings in attendance. It was a GREAT party….I can’t wait for the next one!

This photo speaks for itself. Buster Posey autographed bat, with a mini World Series Trophy in front of a photo of Buster holding the trophy…..ah, what a year!

Photo Of The Day: “The God Of Cool”

You never know what you are going to see in the Napa Valley wine country. Such as this awesome statue at the Jacuzzi Family Vineyards. This was spotted during the annual April in Carneros event. Can anyone tell me which greek god this is?
