I know I haven’t had many “Photo Of The Day” posts lately. This hotel project has been kicking my butt hard. 8-12 hours of straight shooting per day, not including any processing! As stressful as it can be, every day I look at an amazing view like this, and I am quickly reminded that I have THE BEST JOB IN THE WORLD! This is taken from the “Top Of The Mark” restaurant and bar, on the top level of the Mark Hopkins hotel in San Francisco, California

“Bottles Of The Guinness Brewery“
Walking into the Guinness Brewery in Dublin Ireland, you are immediately greeted by every style bottle a glorious pint of Guinness was ever packaged in. It is quite a cool scene. It also happens to make you very thirsty. A pint of Guinness taste 100x better in this country.

In the San Francisco Bay Area, the last couple of weeks have felt more like April than February. Crystal clear blue skies, bright sun, temperatures in the 60’s. So alas, all good things must come to an end. When I checked the weather today, and saw the next 6 days call for heavy rain, I decided I had to try to get one last good sunset in before the storm. So I threw the camera, the tripod, and the dog in the car and sped on down to Rodeo Beach in Sausalito. I had aover an hour to spare before the sunset, so I spent most of that time taking shots of the surfers, who, judging by the large number of them in the water, had the same “now or never” attitude when they checked the weather forcast.

I have passed this piece of art on the Embarcadero in San Francisco many times, but had never photographed it. Walking to the Giants game from the Ferry terminal last week, I saw this angle and knew I had to shoot it.
Getting excited to go to Europe on Tuesday, although am still totally unprepared. But have a feeling I am gonna get some great shots!
GO GIANTS!
